SOUTH-WESTERN PART


This part of the island boasts beaches and natural scenery: Paphos, the island’s former capital, boasts a rich cultural heritage and heavenly beaches such as Coral Bay and Aphrodite Beach, one of the best-known beaches and an ideal location for photos, and strongly recommended to be visited during sunset! Another gem is Faros beach, which offers relaxation along its sandy stretch hemmed in with pretty traditional tavernas. In the bay of Pissouri, you’ll be amazed by its solitary, tranquil coves. The idyllic Cape Greco, a national reserve with enchanting sea caves and the Lovers’ Bridge, a natural arch which, according to legend, brings good luck to lovers who cross it.

SOUTHEAST PART


Lemessos, one of the reference cities of this region gives you at first sight the air of Dubai with its skyscrapers and grandiose infrastructure. The Riviera, sandy kilometers stretching along the coast of the eastern Mediterranean offers you an idyllic panorama of the sea. You can find everything you want: luxury hotels, small taverns by the sea, sunbeds as well as yachts and caïques sleeping next to each other along the quay. The old city invites you to stroll through its streets and make a stop at the castle of the city where the medieval museum of Cyprus is housed. Further east, towards the east of the island, the bay of Konnos with its azure waters is a seaside resort not to be missed. Let’s not forget that this part of the island also contains other cities to discover such as Larnaca where you can take the promenade adorned with palm trees. Nicosia, the capital of the island divided in two by the Green Line, controlled by United Nations peacekeepers will captivate you with its historic streets in the old quarter of Laiki Geitonia. Famagusta, surrounded by the Venetian ramparts, is home to several medieval churches and gives you a great opportunity to discover its tumultuous history.
